The Dual-Pier System is preferred to all other foundation repair systems.
- We start by digging holes around the perimeter of your foundation approximately every six feet to allow entrance to the underside of your foundation. Each hole is around 24 by 24-inches in size and will go down about 3 to 4-feet below the base of your foundation.
- A concrete cylinder is installed at the bottom of the hole under the foundation.
- A hydraulic ram is installed on top of the cylinder. The top of the ram is situated at the bottom of the foundation.
- Cylinders are hydraulically pressed into the ground using the weight of the home. The cylinder is placed beneath the foundation on top of the previous, forming a continuous pier.
- The second set of cylinders is pushed into the earth around 12-inches apart from the first set, creating the A-Custom Dual-Pier System.
- Dual Piers are pressed into the earth at each section through the unstable soil, compressed soil, clay, and shale formations until the piers reach solid sub-strata or bedrock.
- Hydraulic jacks are then installed on top of the piers and used to lift the foundation. Multiple hydraulic jacks simultaneously lift the foundation, causing less stress on the foundation and home.
- Once the foundation is delicately lifted and leveled, the hydraulic jacks are removed with concrete cylinders.
- Your home is now re-leveled to like-new condition.
- Your lawn, shrubs, and landscaping are replaced to original conditions.
